Long Beach, CA

Started out with lofty hopes of finding three letterboxes today:  White By Day Blue at Night, Signal Hill and El Dorado Nature Center.
 
No problem finding Signal Hill, but El Dorado eluded me and the kids ran out of steam at White by Day Blue by Night.  I spent about 45 minutes at the El Dorado site walking in circles.  I even made the kids go into the brush to look around, but no luck.  No box and luckily, no snakes.  Beautiful area.  Funny you can live so close and not know that it's there.
 
Oh well....guess I'll be going out again next weekend.....   I'll bring the hubby and let him walk around in the bushes.

 We will recheck El Dorado site in Long Beach when we can and let you know details.  Do try for an evening hunt for the other Long Beach stamp.  It is a bit congested with Grand Prix fences etc. but after mid April it should calm down. Gwen

Wendy,   Box at El Dorado Nature Center exists.  We checked it Saturday and Tom and Sylvia had found it.  Time to plant some of your own for the lonesome So. Cal Boxers?  Good hunting!, Gwen
